DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT HAVE A DISAGREEMENT AND/OR ISSUE(S) WITH THE STAFF OR THEY WILL DROP YOU AS A PATIENT AND CLAIM IT IS "BETTER FOR YOU!" This happened to me recently during the treatment of my tedious, re-occuring yeast infection and Dr. Gottlieb had said if it was as bad as she assumed they may have to use boric acid! She then proceeded to ask me if I knew of the dangerous substance I said, "Yes, I had heard of it." However, before I could get out that I had only heard of it by name and only knew of its dangerousness and how I heard of it was due to being the daughter of an ex-NIH biology research scientist that left that field when I was 3 and a primary care physician. She was all, "Good, so, you know the usage of it (NOT A QUESTION)! Well, I have other patients to go see and left!" As she was talking, she saw me getting insanely confused and depressed the more we talked and crying in front of her! I told her I was scared and she didn't truly enquire except to say, "Well, do you want it gone or do you want to keep doing nothing about it!?!" As a result of her incompetence they said I was a bad PATIENT and decided to not allow me back to the practice!
I had fibroids, and the sonogram had shown these clearly, but the doctor here couldn't find them during a D&C, which he recommended to clear the fibroids. I had another doctor re-do the images, and the sonogram still found the fibroids. I was later told, by the other doctor, that it was a common surgical mistake to go up in the wall of the uterus rather than the cavity, which meant he had been scraping my wall and that is why he couldn't see the fibroids. This led to very heavy bleeding and when I called the office was told that I didn't know what heavy bleeding was like. I was very unhappy with the quality of care here and changed to another doctor, who resolved the problem.
My Obgyn was Dr. Cannon, and I can't thank her enough for the BEST birthing experience EVER!!! I had a horrific experience in Florida with my first c-section and was told by numerous Obgyn that my pelvis was to narrow for a VBAC but not until I found Dr. Cannon! Her positive spirit and willingness to try everything and anything keeping the safety of the baby of cours in mind allowed me to have confidence and strength and with all that .... She delivered VIA VBAC!!! Yay!!!!! a healthy 8.5 lbs 20.5" baby boy!!!! I was able to hold my baby in compared to my first delivery in Florida... that moment was priceless!!!! Her encouragement and knowledge guided me the whole way... we even had moments of laughter with our nurse. Dr. Cannon is a angel; I could go for hours about how she was my hero and helped me do something that I always wanted to do; which is give birth naturally to the newest addition to my family. Baby number 3 here we come!!!! Oh and the front of the staff is awesome too!!! Always friendly and helpful. Thank you Dr. Cannon, YOU ROCK!
