This hospital truly does not represent the standards that Holy Cross has set. And yes Holy Cross Germantown is correct, I should of took my son to Silver Spring because at least that hospital represents the companies mission.

* Ongoing learning and sharing of new knowledge

Mission Statement

After waiting four hours the emergency reservation department had the audacity say that one with sickly children, should go to Silver Spring Holy Cross, because they have a pediatrics division. Such generous words from people that’s suppose to put their patients health first.

Let me provide you with a reminder..... Holy Cross Germantown, please see your mission statement and core values below:

* Reverence: We honor the sacredness and dignity of every person

* Our friendly, caring spirit

Apparently Holy Cross Germantown does not see children as a priority. You can literally sit with your child with an opened wound (bleeding) and they tell you that patient that come via the ambulance are their first priority.

* Integrity: We are faithful to who we say we are

* Innovative, high-quality and safe health care services for all in partnership with our physicians and others

Holy Cross Health’s team will achieve this trust through:

* Outreach that responds to community health need and improves health status

We, Holy Cross Health and Trinity Health, serve together in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities. We carry out this mission in our communities through our commitment to be the most trusted provider of health care services.

Not to mention doctors who just started shift telling you that your child’s illness doesn’t not exist or is not to what is considered extreme. While co-workers are eating at the desk and making a mockery of their patients in the waiting room.

* Commitment to those who are poor: We stand with and serve those who are poor, especially those most vulnerable

* Stewardship: We honor our heritage and hold ourselves accountable for the human, financial and natural resources entrusted to our care

The staff in this hospital are really rude. My mom came in because she wasn't feeling well come to find out she had a heart attack and the nurses discharged her without helping her. One nurse on the upper level snatched the call button out the wall so my mom couldn't call for help. My mom died as soon as she got home. I will file a lawsuit for sure.

I was here for 3 days and this facility was superb! I was in for a very serious pneumonia infection that entered into my blood and caused serious heart issues. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I got the medical attention I needed. I don't understand why the other reviews were so negative. The entire hospital staff was friendly, caring and very professional. My room and the rest of the hospital was clean and sterile. I would highly recommend this facility.

Well, me and my wife were scheduled for a Prenatal Tour on Saturday morning at 9:00 am. We arrived at 8:55 am , and hoping that the program has not started yet, because once the tour started, you can not join the group in the middle. Oh God, he heard our prayer. Its been 31 minutes , and the tour has not begin yet. Even the cops sometimes let you go if you are pulled over for speeding, and you tell them your pregnant wife needs to use the restroom. But these guys took it to the next level where all 8 other expected mother were waiting in the lobby for a tour.

* Accessibility of services to our most vulnerable and underserved populations

* Justice: We foster right relationships to promote the common good, including sustainability of Earth

My mother waited in the ER which had 3 people in it for 3 hours before she was even triage and then she didn't get pain meds for another 4 hours after that. Not to mention they were going to send her home the same day with no diagnosis later to find out she had a bacteria infection and would have never known if she didn't choose to stay on her own. In addition to the infection being highly contagious, they sent her home 5 days later which was to early and now shes back in there because that's the hospital that her doctor is affiliated with. Who by the way Dr, Heshmat is wonderful but this hospital sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
